Blue Coast Insurance has served North Carolina residents with their health insurance needs since 1984. The Lumberton/Robeson County office was the first to open and we later expanded to Wilmington in 1997 to better serve our customers in the Wilmington, Brunswick County and Pender County areas.

Joyce is the owner and president of Blue Coast Insurance Agency and is licensed with life, health, Medicare Supplement and long-term care. She started working for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina in 1971 when Blue Cross was located on Franklin Street in Chapel Hill. She moved back to Lumberton in 1973 and was employed with the local hospital as Patient Accounts Supervisor. In 1998, she retired and went full time with Blue Coast Insurance Agency, which was started in 1984. Joyce has the pleasure of serving the people of North Carolina and looks forward to many more years. Joyce has two children, Donald and Kimberly, and three grandsons, Daniel, Clifton and Clinton. She enjoys spending time at the beach and bird watching. Joyce is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters.

Phyllis came to work with Joyce first as office manager in 2001 and then in sales in 2004. She strives each day to assist Joyce in sales and appointments as well as making sure all things at the office are finished at the end of a day's work. Phyllis is an asset to the office and everyone enjoys talking with her when they call. Phyllis has two sons, Randy and Kenneth, and one grandson, Jace, whom she loves very much. When not at work, Phyllis loves working in the flower garden and watching hummingbirds.

Crystal is in her fifth year as a state-licensed agent in North Carolina. She has a deep personal connection with her clients and really strives to look after their best interests. After raising two daughters, Crystal worked in the clinical laboratory field for 16 years, spending most of her days helping physician practices find ways to improve services and reduce healthcare costs. She understands the need for quality health insurance and is focused on helping people of all ages find affordable solutions. Crystal is licensed in Life/Accident/Health and Medicare Supplement. She also is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters. Crystal is passionate about healthy living, early cancer screening and heart disease prevention. She and her husband enjoy the surf, sand and sun in Wilmington and love being grandparents.
